Funny tho. the census has great grandpa davis as william grams said his name was Vincent and that william is her cousin./brother in law. this group is getting confusing : )

The funeral service for Irene V. Eastham, 96, of Marengo, Ill., will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, at Zion Lutheran Church, 408 Jackson St., Marengo. The Rev. Glen Borhart will officiate. Interment will be in Crystal Lake Memorial Park, Crystal Lake. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the church. Born Oct. 1, 1912, in Chicago, the daughter of Vytautas Dowidaitis and Agota Mikalauskas, she died Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at Mercy Harvard Care Center. Mrs. Eastham received her G.E.D. in 1980, and almost attained her associate degree after attending Kishwaukee and Harper Community Colleges. Irene had been a member of Bible Circle at Prince of Peace Church in Schaumburg and enjoyed swimming, traveling and playing cards. She also volunteered at the Senior Center in Schaumburg, helping seniors with their taxes. Irene was the wife of the late Albert Eastham, who passed away July 8, 1979; mother of Nancy (Paul) Kruger of Hoffman Estates, Marilyn (Stan) Ahrens of Marengo and David (Kathi) Eastham of Miami, Fla.; grandmother of eight; great-grandmother of nine; and great-great- grandmother of three. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren. Arrangements were made by Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, Harvard, Ill., 815-943-5400.
