"Gramma and Grampa Eastham had taken the family for a drive in their big old touring car. Gram was getting exasperated, because she had told my mom (Margaret), Uncle Al and Aunt Dorothy -- several times -- to stop kneeling on the back seat looking out the rear window, but they kept right on doing it anyway. Finally Gram said, "What are you looking at? And where's Albert??"
"The kids pointed out the back and said, "That's what we're looking at -- there's Albert!!" and there he was, legs pumping frantically, trying to keep up with the car! He had fallen out, and with all the noise those old cars made, Gram and Grampa never heard!!
"Those were the days . . . . !"
